Send a bag between Hyderabad and campus
At the start and end of every term, students pay full cab fare to move a suitcase. The bus already drives that road with empty luggage space underneath. This page exists to find out whether enough people want it to be worth solving the hard parts.
Read this before you fill it in
Nothing here books anything. No bag will be collected. This is a demand form and nothing more, the same way requesting a trip doesn't put a bus on the road. We'd rather say that plainly than let you find out at the gate.
There's no price yet, because we won't quote one before we know what we're actually able to promise.
What's unsolved
Being straight about these is the point of building it as a concept.
Who hands the bag over?
Somebody has to be at both ends at the right time. A bus that leaves on schedule can't wait twenty minutes for one person running late.
What happens when a bag goes missing?
This is the one that matters. A student's whole term of belongings is not something to be casual about, and right now we have no way to make anyone whole.
Can we legally accept it at all?
Carrying goods for payment isn't the same as carrying people. We need to know where our operator permit actually stands before taking a single rupee.
What does it cost?
The bus already runs with empty space underneath, so the marginal cost is near zero. That doesn't make it free: handling and the risk above both have to be priced in.
